Shackelford, Donna

Donna Shackelford is the founder and president of Supernova Science. She has more than twenty years experience as a science educator having worked as an a high school biology and earth science teacher in Duval County, FL, and Fairfax County public schools. Donna worked in a variety of other educational settings include as an independent tutor, curriculum developer and computer specialist at a private day school and a specialist in Loudoun County public schools before founding Supernova Science in 2009 to provide science enrichment programs. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from George Mason University and a Masters of Education in Secondary School Science from the University of North Florida. Donna lives with her family in Sterling, VA.
