Featured Classes: Jedi Master and Jedi Jr Star Wars Lego Engineering

Young LEGO engineers will Use the Force to learn about…forces… such as motion, automation, and propulsion as they construct Star Wars-themed projects each week. Each project introduces mechanical and engineering elements such as catapults, wheel/axles, levers, and unitized construction (for our Jr. Jedi engineers) and motors, gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, and eccentric motion (for our Jedi Master engineers.) Students will build, test, and re-design X-Wings, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, R2 units, defense turrets, and more. Build a shield generator or animate your own 4-legged Imperial AT-AT walkers in this class.  These classes tap in to the “forces” of imagination and engineering design concepts!

Jedi Masters (3rd-5th grade) and Jedi Jr. (K-2nd grade) engineering classes meet for 8 weeks on Wednesdays at Compass from 10:00 am – 11:30 am starting January 10. Register online for these classes or others. Enroll by December 15 to get a 10% early registration discount.
