Marisela Rumberg, CZT is an artist and educator who became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). Marisela is an avid fiber artist, quilter, and quilting instructor. She took her love of patterns and repetition in fiber works and quilts and began to draw rhythmic, artistic patterns and designs. This interest in decorative drawing lead her to learn and teach the Zentangle method which is a calm-inducing and stress-reducing process to create “beautiful images by drawing structured patterns” consisting of dots, lines, simple curves, s-curves and orbs. Marisela leads Zentangle workshops around northern Virginia for art guilds, community groups, enrichment programs, team-building retreats, and special occasions. Her work can be seen at the Workhouse Arts Center, Torpedo Factory Arts Center, and Glen Echo Park. Marisela earned a Bachelors Degree at the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico in Toluca, Mexico.
