Kati Andresen enjoys sharing her love of cooking, baking and crafting with others. She has taught culinary and crafting classes at Reston Community Center since 2014 where she has offered a wide range of classes from basic cooking skills to kitchen science to cake creations. Also in 2014, Kati started selling custom cakes and desserts out of her home, and she still enjoys the challenge some requests bring. As a self-taught baker, she experiments regularly with fresh produce and unusual finds at the farmers markets. She is a strong advocate for homemade foods and fresh ingredients, so many of the recipes she will be sharing at Compass are inspired by seasonal offerings.
