New Year, New CrossFit Kids Class at Compass!

CrossFit Kids is an exciting way to get homeschooled kids moving and exercising when it is too cold to play outside! Where else can you use “slam balls,” kettle bells, and rope ladders? Certified CrossFit coaches come right to Compass to offer this dynamic fitness class!

Every work-out touches on the ten areas of fitness:

  • Cardio-vascular endurance
  • Stamina
  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Coordination
  • Agility
  • Balance
  • Accuracy

No two sessions are the same! CrossFit training will improve a child’s functional movements that are fundamental to all aspects of play and exercise- pulling, pushing, running, throwing, climbing, lifting, and jumping! Kids do not need to be athletic to begin CrossFit. CrossFit is not competitive and instead emphasizes personal growth and improvement.

CrossFit Kids begins next Wednesday, January 11, at 11:00 am. The class is best suited for kids in 4th – 8th grade. Register for this 8-week winter session or other Compass classes online.
