Compass Student Newspaper and Literary Magazine Released!

Extra! Extra!

The Compass Collaborative student newspaper and PenPoint Literature and Art Magazine have been published! The student staff and advisors did a remarkable job completing their publications remotely this spring so their readers can enjoy the works virtually.

The spring quarter publication of the Compass Collaborative is a special COVID edition featuring tips and ideas- from other kids- to stay occupied and keep learning this summer. Read through the newspaper for student articles, updates, reviews, photo highlights of the year, and a special salute to the graduating Compass seniors. Class of 2020!

The 2020 edition of PenPoint has more art, more color, and more creative writing! PenPoint is an anthology that showcases the writing and art of secondary homeschooled students, seventh grade and older, from throughout the metro DC area.

See the Compass Collaborative webpage to join the staff or contribute next year. Register for the Compass Literarians editorial board seminar starting June 1.
