Compass Classes Begin Wednesday, See What Is New!

It is time to get back into a homeschool routine despite the colder temperatures! Compass homeschool classes begin this week on Wednesday, January 13, and there is still time to register and join us for innovative, hands-on classes. From “Special Effects for Film Making” and Oceanography to “Math Masterminds” and Improvisation, Compass has something for everyone. We have just-for-fun acting, cooking, drawing, and chess classes for all ages, as well as core high school classes.

Check our schedule again! A number of classes that were previously closed now have space available! Dozens of classes still have openings, and Compass welcomes last minute registrations. Watch for special community activities this winter at Compass too:

Winter is a great time to try Compass for the first time or to return after a break! Winter quarter is just 8 weeks long and can fill that void when it is too cold for park days and the family is getting cabin fever. Many Compass kids continue to play outdoors in the winter, but we are opening two new areas for parents and siblings to wait indoors if it is too cold or too wet. Chose from parents lounges, social hall, quiet study rooms, an under-3 nursery, meditation room, and new family lounge.

Consider Compass classes if you have some gaps in your curriculum, want to incorporate an outside class, or are looking for a few more social interactions! Compass offers enrichment classes for homeschooled students in K-12. Classes are held in Oakton on Wednesdays for all and Friday for teens all in a warm, welcoming setting!
