24 Classes Still Open…Compass Starts in 2 Weeks!
Summer is almost over! It’s time to get back to homeschooling! Do you know what you are doing for fall? Compass classes begin in just 2 weeks, and registrations are still being accepted!
24 classes still have spots remaining! Following is a partial list of open classes. See the website for the complete list of classes:
- Historical Swordsmanship: Two Handed Sword (3rd-8th grade)
- Beginning Chess 1 (2nd-6th grade)
- Math Masterminds (5th-6th grade)
- FUNdamentals of Engineering with Lego (3rd-5th grade)
- Honors Earth Science: Geology (7th-9th grade)
- Physics: Fighting Forces (Mechanics) (5th-6th grade)
- Living World: Plants & Animals (1st-2nd grade)
- Advanced Astronomy 1 (5th-6th grade)
- Algebra Focus: Linear Equations (7th-9th grade)
- Spanish Amigos (K-2nd grade)
- Art: Drawing & Design (5th-6th grade)
- Dance Around the World (2nd-6th grade)
- Earth Explorers: Weather & Meteorology (3rd-4th grade)
- Public Speaking (5th-8th grade)
- What Can You Say? Where Can You Pray? Freedom of Religion & Speech (6th-8th grade)
If you have some gaps in your curriculum, want to incorporate an outside class, or are looking for a few more social interactions, please consider at Compass classes! Compass Classes are taught on Wednesdays in Oakton for students in Kindergarten-9th grade. All Compass instructors are professional educations, but the Compass program is organized by homeschoolers for homeschoolers!’
