An Organization Workshop for Homeschool Parents
Cut the Chaos. Contain the Clutter. Command the Calendar. Cultivate Calm.
Early October is the perfect time to look back at the first month of homeschooling, celebrate what is working, and make thoughtful adjustments before small frustrations become daily stress.
Get Your Year Together is a 2-hour interactive workshop facilitated by Camille Prunka, a professional organizer and productivity coach. Camille will share practical, real-world strategies to help homeschooling families reduce overwhelm, create workable systems, and bring more order to the everyday demands of home and school.
- Monday, October 5
- 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm
- 510 Herndon Parkway
- Supervised activities for children ages 5+
- $59.00
- Register online
Parents will explore ways to organize lesson plans, schedules, learning materials, digital resources, paperwork, household responsibilities, and family routines- while building systems flexible enough for real homeschool life.
The workshop will also focus on strategies parents can teach their children. Participants will learn age-appropriate approaches for helping kids plan and prioritize, manage assignments, set up study spaces, establish routines, organize materials, and gradually take greater responsibility for their own work.
The goal isn’t a perfectly organized homeschool. It’s a calmer, more manageable one with practical strategies that help both parents and children.
For teens, consider Camille’s series of five workshops throughout the year. Workshops consist of two, 90-minute meetings on executive functioning and life skills that will help teens in high school and beyond. See Compass’s Special Events Registration Page to learn about:
