Tayler Shreve is the instructor for Law and Order, Compass’s Criminal Justice courses. She is a PhD candidate (expected August 2023) and adjunct professor in Justice, Law, and Criminology at American University in Washington, DC. Tayler also earned a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at the University of South Florida. Her specialties are in the areas of data science and statistics which includes studies such as threat analysis, probability modeling, and crime mapping. She has completed projects for the State Attorney’s Office in Florida, Public Defender’s Office in Maryland, and several police departments. She has worked as a Forensic Investigation Unit Intern, a Criminology Fellow for the Medici Road community development program, and has served as the case manager for homeless youth in DC. She also has numerous academic publications in the field of criminology.
