Cobb, Diane Wright

Diane Wright Cobb is a professional artist and long time art educator. Diane operates a small art studio in Herndon where she has led private art lessons and group classes for children and adults since 2010. She taught art to homeschooled students in grades K-12 at the High Country Home Educators program in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for four years. Diane has worked as the Lead Fine Arts Instructor at Village Green Day School in Potomac Falls, Virginia since 2008. She enjoys working with youth organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Youth for Tomorrow. She has held many camps, classes, and workshops in a variety of art forms. Several of Diane’s students have gone on to receive awards including the Scholastic competition’s Gold Key Award. Diane specializes in portraits, scenic art, illustrations, murals, and landscapes, and enjoys working with graphite, oils, acrylics, inks, and watercolors. Diane has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Art and Fine Art as well as a certificate in early childhood education from Norther Virginia Community College. She lives in Herndon.
