Beginner Beats: Electronic Music Trial for Teens

Beginner Beats is a one-hour trial workshop to introduce students to the basics of Electronic Music Production. Tweens and teens will learn how to create, enhance, and share the music they imagine. Students will make their very first beat in this workshop under the guidance of mix master Eric Jao, a professional musician, DJ, and producer with 30+ years of experience. This workshop is meant to be used as a sampler for students to discover if they would like to take Compass's new, 8-week class on electronic music production in the third quarter. No musical training or electronic skills are needed. The instructor will furnish all equipment.
