We had a little shift in the Decorative Arts Studio schedule, which means we get to pull out a surprise we were saving for later…
“Clay Creations” is moving up to FIRST QUARTER! 🎨
This is the kind of art kids can really get their hands into- messy, moldable, hands-on fun you can squish, shape, and turn into something real! Students will roll, press, pinch, coil, texture, build, finish, and glaze their own wet-clay creations with artist Andrea Rodriguez of Jimmy Potters Clay Studio. Jimmy Potter’s team last taught at Compass in 2015!
The classes will explore slab construction, pinch pots, coil building, texture and pattern techniques, and more while turning a lump of clay into something completely their own.
So get ready to get creative, get messy, and get muddy in the best possible way…
Clay Creations is coming to Decorative Arts Studio on Tuesdays starting September 8.
