Enrich, Liza

Liza Enrich is an experienced chemistry educator with over fifteen years of teaching experience in public, charter, and international schools. Liza has taught a range of chemistry courses, including AP and IB levels, and has developed rigorous, inquiry-based curricula that emphasize critical thinking and problem solving. She holds teaching licenses in Maryland and Washington DC having taught at MacArthur High School, Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter High School, DC International School, Cesar Chavez Public Charter High School, and the Nansha College Preparatory Academy in Guangzhou, China. Liza has held the roles of Science Department Chair, Director of Portfolio Curriculum & Implementation, Instructional Team Leader, and honor society advisor. Her teaching focuses on helping students understand complex scientific concepts through clear instruction and hands-on learning. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Science from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with honors from Scripps College.
