Worrell, Louisa

Louisa Worrell is an experienced early childhood education specialist with over two decades of career experience in corporate and private sectors of education. She has spent years designing and curating a comprehensive, play-based curriculum that aligns with preschool aged children’s interests and developmental stages. Louisa’s curriculum draws influence from a variety of styles, incorporating STREAMIN3 strategies to support growth in STEM, literacy, gross motor, and social-emotional skills. She previously taught preschool at Sterling Community Center in Sterling, Virginia and was a pioneer educator at The Karter School, also in Sterling. During her time at the Karter School, Louisa spearheaded a school library initiative, organizing book clubs, themed literary events and weekly storytimes.
