Jeff Virchow has taught ballroom dance since 1999 and has worked in theater since 2005. Mr. Virchow founded and runs the business, Dance at Home, based in Northern Virginia, though which he teaches private dance lessons. He taught at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in West Hartford, CT, and has competed in ballroom dance at a professional level.  In addition to his dance experience, Mr. Virchow has held a variety of roles in theater. He has worked as a Performing Arts Assistant at The Alden theater in McLean since 2010. There he developed and taught a middle school theater curriculum and founded and directed a high school improvisational touring company along with managing multiple other aspects of the theater. Mr Virchow also worked at the Sharkespeare Theatre of New Jersey and Classical Theatre of Harlem. He has taught acting and improvisation at the Saddle River Day School and Morristown-Beard School in New Jersey, and has worked in independent film, television, commercials, and regional theater in the tri-state (CT, NY, NJ) area. Mr. Virchow was educated at Central Connecticut State University and Manchester Community College.
