Mercadal, C. Danielle

Danielle Mercadal is an experienced early childhood educator and veteran kindergarten teacher. Danielle earned a Master of Arts Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Illustration from Marymount University. She has experience with a wide variety of curriculum including Lucy Calkins’ Writing Project and Success for All along with knowledge of several teaching philosophies and methods including Montessori, Steiner/Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia. Danielle worked as a first grade teachers at Hybla Valley Elementary School and later taught at The Riverbend Garden Homeschool Cooperative where she also served as a board member. She has experience teaching ESOL students and comes from an international family full of diversity.
