Svetlana Klote is a native Russian speaker, born in Kyrgyzstan in the former Soviet Republic. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) but has lived in the United States since 2003. She can work with beginners, students of all ages, and those who are seeking practice with spoken Russian. She has taught Russian at Northern Virginia Community College- Loudoun Campus and organized Russian storytimes at the Reston Library. Svetlana has two bi-lingual children whom she homeschools.
