Mandy Hull is a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) whose experience in special education settings inspired her passion for helping struggling learners. She pursued specialized training in structured literacy through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center (ASDEC)’s Sounds in Syllables program, first as an Academic Language Therapy Intern, completing her CALT certification in 2022, and now serving as the Clinical Supervisor. She is also pursuing her ASDEC training as a Multisensory Math Intern.

Mandy’s extensive professional development includes advanced coursework through the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) and Orton-Gillingham International (OGI), as well as training in Reading Simplified, the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), Wilson Language Training’s Just Words, the 95 Percent Group’s Top Ten Tools, Structured Word Inquiry (SWI), and ASDEC’s Language Foundations.

In addition to her literacy expertise, Mandy earned a Dyslexia Institute Advocacy Certificate, completed a Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) Special Education Advocacy Training (SEAT)-Level 1.0, and completed training in ADHD Coaching through MentorCoach. She earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University, and completed graduate-level coursework in Special Education from University of Virginia. Many brings a thoughtful, research-based, and highly individualized approach to instruction, helping students build confidence and develop essential skills for long-term academic success.

Mandy Hull also earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Industry and a Master of Arts in Music Education at Middle Tennessee State University. She taught general and choral music to students in grades PreK through high school for over 20 years.
