Kerry Diederich is the instructor for the Junior Arts Studio. Kerry has been involved with the Greater Reston Arts (GRACE) program at Fox Mill Elementary School for eleven years. GRACE Art is an in-school art enrichment program that introduces important artists, themes, or movements through multimedia projects. Kerry served as a docent for 5 years before becoming program director where she coordinates a team of ninety volunteer docents. Before moving to northern Virginia, Kerry lived in southern California where she was the director of marketing, a position in which she frequently interfaced with vendors and artists in graphic design and promotional design. Kerry and her family live in Oak Hill.

  • “Animals in Art was one of my daughter’s favorite classes, and Junior Art Studio was one of the courses she firmly requested to repeat in the fall. She said her teacher, Kerry Diedrich, was awesome and my daughter always came from class smiling and proud of her projects, which were fun and age-appropriate. Altogether we were very happy with the class!” -D.M. (Fairfax, VA)
  • “My son enjoyed the class.” -K.S.(Clifton, VA)
