Reading Ready Assessment

Description:

This is the fee for a CUBED 3rd edition comprehensive literacy assessment by the Language Dynamics Group. This assessment will be administered by certified specialists in structured literacy and language-based learning differences, Many Hull or Nidhi Tandon, to measure language, decoding, and reading comprehension for placement in a Reading Ready group. Please note this is an assessment for class placement, not a comprehensive evaluation for a diagnosis.

Once the assessment fee has been received, the structured language specialist will contact you to schedule the evaluation. All assessments are conducted in person at Compass; virtual assessments are not available.

The assessment fee is due prior to the evaluation and is non-refundable. Assessments are scheduled appointments with a professional who has reserved dedicated time to work with your student. Students who do not attend a scheduled assessment appointment will forfeit the fee paid and will be required to pay again to reschedule.

The fee will not be refunded or credited if a family disagrees with the results or chooses not to enroll in a reading group. Placement in a specific section is determined only after a student has been evaluated. Parents should not assume a particular day or time in advance.

By registering for classes and checking the box below, you accept the following Release and Waiver: "In consideration for all classes, tutoring, workshops, activities, etc., (the "Instruction") by Compass Homeschool Enrichment LLC, and its subcontracted instructors, I agree to release and hold harmless from any and all claims, demands, and damages against Compass Homeschool Enrichment LLC, or anyone in its employment in connection with the Instruction, including all claims and causes of action of negligence, personal injury, and property damage."
