We just can’t count on “good” snow in northern Virginia!!
Give your child a guaranteed snowy day and unforgettable, frosty field trip with Homeschool Ski Adventures! Enjoy a day on the snowy slopes skiing with homeschool friends at Liberty Mountain Resort in Fairfield, PA. All details are arranged by MC Youth Ski Club, a community program run by a Compass parent. The packages include:
Homeschool Ski Adventures will take place on three Mondays: January 12, February 9, and February 23. Sign up for one date or all three!
- Complete Youth Package (one date): $199.00
- Complete Adult Package (one date): $149.00
- Complete Youth Package (all 3 dates): $549.00

Schedule:
- 8:30 am (bus departs Compass)
- 10:30 am – 3:00 pm “on the mountain” lessons/skiing
- 5:00 pm (bus returns to Compass)
Other details:
- This program is open to all area homeschoolers, their friends, and siblings. Participants do not have to be enrolled in Compass classes.
- Minimum age 7
- Ages 7-9, must have a participating parent or designated adult in attendence
- This event can be drop-off for children ages 10+
- Parents are welcome with the purchase of an Adult package.
- Parents wishing to ride along to observe- without paying for adult package- cannot be accommodated.
- Contact Compass for discount available to families who wish to drive themselves and meet the group at Liberty.
- Contact Compass for discount available to experienced skiers who have their own equipment and own Epic passes (i.e. do not need rentals, lift ticket, or lessons)
- All participants will be required to set up access and sign waivers through MCYSC’s online portal prior to the trip.
