Daines, Hunter

Hunter Daines is a Latin tutor and classicist who earned a Bachelor’s degree in History with a concentration in Ancient Languages from Brigham Young University. He has a passion for translating historical texts from ancient languages, particularly Greek, Latin, and Hebrew, which he studied at the college level. He has expanded his linguistic interests through online study of Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, German, and Russian, achieving introductory proficiency across each language. Hunter has experience both taking and preparing other students for the National Latin Exam for which he earned a rating of Summa Cum Laude.
