Winter Class: Aikido: Self Defense for Fun and Fitness

Starting in January, don’t miss the special, “Aikido: Self Defense for Fun and Fitness” class at Compass!  Aikido is a Japanese form of self-defense and martial art that uses locks, holds, throws, and rolls while matching the opponent’s moves. Warm-ups, stretching, and safety are emphasized.

The class is for students in 3rd grade and above, and parents are welcome to enroll with their children. Stretching and exercising are a great way to get kids focused for the day! The 8-week class is taught at 10:00am on Wednesdays at Compass in Oakton.

The class is taught by a 4th dan (i.e. 4th degree) black belt in Aikido, Brian Erickson. He is the owner and sensei (master instructor) of Heaven and Earth Aikido in Herndon and a veteran of the US military.

Register before midnight tomorrow and receive a 10% “early registration” discount of Aikido and all other classes!
