Take School into the Woods with Compass Nature Quest Classes!
New Nature Quest classes begin Tuesday, 9/15
Get away from the screen and out of the house! Step outdoors to each week to explore nature with a seasoned naturalist/survivalist guide in Compass Nature Quest classes. Kids will discover all the secrets that woods hold when they stop, look, listen, smell, touch, turn-over, and peek under! Nature Quest students will discover the wonders of the woods around the Sugarland Run Trail in Herndon, just 1/2 mile from Compass’s new location.
Kids will learn valuable outdoor skills, discover native plants & animals, and observe the changes of seasons through group activities, free play, exploration, story-telling, and skill building in Compass Nature Quest classes. Emphasis will be on becoming comfortable with things they encounter outdoors, observing and appreciating discoveries in nature, safe exploration of the woods, and how to be a good steward of nature.
Five (5) all-new Nature Quest classes will begin on Tuesday, September 15. Register for an open space today, or contact Compass to register a whole family, group of friends, or homeschooling pod. See the Nature Quest info page for answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Nature Quest, maps, and photos of the park.
