Fisher, Alison

Alison Fisher is a dance instructor Velocity Dance She has taught at Velocity since 2017 and has been an instructor with the Universal Dance Association summer camps program since 2015. She has choreographed game and competition dances for several local high school dance teams. Velocity Dance is a celebrated dance studio in Vienna with successful all-star competition teams and a wide range of weekly studio classes for all ages in ballet, jazz, lyrical, pom, hip hop and tumbling. Velocity Dance is under the direction of owner Suzanne Mansfield who is known for pushing dance to the “next level” in the mid-Atlantic. After studying with the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in DC and the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater program, earning a bachelors degree from Marymount University and being selected as a Washington Redskins cheerleader, she has achieved over 20 years of experience as a dancer, cheerleader, competitor, choreographer, and coach. Suzanne opened Velocity Dance with the vision of a facility that would not only foster talented and award-winning dancers, but provide a safe, wholesome and positive environment. Velocity’s all-star program has earned two Summit National Championship titles and a coveted Dance Worlds trophy.
