Russell, Penny

Penny Russell is a puppeteer based in the Metropolitan DC area.  She is a Master Teaching Artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts and teaches music, drama and puppetry to children and adults on the autism spectrum for ArtStream. Penny is a vocalist with the Dukes of Rhythm under the direction of Marshall B. Hawkins. She has performed with Goodlife Theater, Blue Sky Puppet Theatre, The Puppet Company at Glen Echo, Adventure Theatre, The Other Opera Company, Half Mad Theater, and the Bread and Puppet Theater.
