Melanie Kosar is a local writer, author, and bibliophile. Melanie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Composition at the University of Virginia. She is a co-founder of the Chain Bridge Writers group which is dedicated to the practice and critique of storytelling through writing. Melanie completed a certificate in creative writing through the Institute of Children’s Literature and has an early reader book currently in publication. While she appreciates the artistry of children’s books, she is looking forward to delving into college level works with advanced literature students at Compass. When she is not homeschooling two daughters, you may bump into Melanie at Vienna’s Bards Alley bookstore.
