Monifa “Mo” Hamilton has a passion for communications and leadership. She rose through the leadership ranks in Toastmasters International, and communication and leadership non-profit organization, and became a Distinguished Governor of District 29. She was responsible for overseeing the educational programs for approximately 3,000 members. Today Monifa provides professional speech coaching for a variety of clientele, serves as a public speaking instructor for middle school students, and conducts presentations and workshops on topics related to leadership and communication. Mo is also an adjunct professor teaching a variety of communications classes for Northern Virginia Community College. She serves as a judge for speech and debate competitions for STOA, NCFCA, BIG Oratorical and the Girl Scouts National Capital Region. Monifa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Hampton University, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership Organization from George Washington University, and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University.
