Gurshman, Nataliya

Nataliya Gurshman is an artist and art educator based in Annandale. She serves as an adjunct professor of art at Northern Virginia Community College. Nataliya also teaches private lessons in painting and drawing as well as pre-college art portfolio preparation. She boasts a 100% college acceptance rate for her students in addition to Merit Portfolio Scholarships. She studied at the Academy of Art in Leningrad, Russia. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Art Institute of Boston and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the St. Petersburg Art Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has exhibited artwork in multiple juried shows throughout the DC and Northern Virginia Area and has earned numerous awards for her work. She has been featured in magazines in Virginia and London, England. Nataliya is a member of the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society.
