Matthew Grant Guenther is a licensed architect with a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University, and Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with Honors & Distinction from Iowa State University. Matthew has extensive architectural experience in all phases of custom residential, institutional, and commercial design and construction, and learned from the ground up, beginning as a construction laborer during college! His involvement in professional affiliations include American Institute of Architects, Small Firms Roundtable, Green Building Group, Green Home Choice Professional, and Building Science. Matt has received dozens of design awards in local, regional, and national design award programs, and has had his projects published in many magazines and on many websites. Matt’s teaching experience comes from training inexperienced employees he hired into his firm, as well as many years as a high school football coach. He is thrilled to create a studio experience for our Compass high school students to learn architecture.
