Adler, Laura T.

Laura T. Adler is the Compass coding coach for the girls’ Technovation team. Laura has a Master of Science in Information Systems from American University. She has worked as an independent website/application developer since 2000. Laura has developed custom applications for task management, e-commerce, scheduling, online registration, gaming, member/user and fundraising databases, websites, and more. Her clients have included non-profit organizations, medical practices, educational groups, media organizations, and online enterprises. Laura’s projects have incorporated MySQL, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Unity, Steam, Square, Weebly, JQuery, MS Access, Angular, Bootstrap, Android Studio, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Azure web services. Laura also worked as an adjunct professor at the Art Institute of Washington for three years where she taught programming languages and technical skills to students in the institutes’ Video Game Programming bachelor’s program. Earlier in her career, she worked as a software developer, senior programmer, programmer, and analyst.
