Tomorrow, Friday, September 14, is the Final Day to order student magazine subscriptions through Compass! Homeschool parents love these interesting, vibrant, inexpensive student magazines that are only available through “schools,” and kids love getting their magazine mail at Compass. Different editions are available for different reading levels in: NatGeo Explorer, Time for Kids, or New York Times Upfront.

Subscription rates are very affordable- just $7.50 for the year of NatGeoExplorer or $15.00 for the year of Time for Kids and NY Times Upfront. Magazines begin arriving in September. Click on the titles below to see a sample edition and reading level.

Homeschoolers use student magazines for brief assignments on busy days and as entertainment in the car! They’re great for reading comprehension, short assignments, mini unit studies, current events, vocabulary words, short report…and just for fun. All editions are full color, contain no advertisements, and make a great supplement for homeschoolers.

Order magazines online through the Compass store. All orders must be placed by September 14!

Magazines will be distributed at Compass. Families do not need to attend classes at Compass to subscribe to magazines, however they will need to schedule pick-ups in Oakton or coordinate with a friend who attends Compass classes.
