Culinary Foundations: Advanced Cooking Class for Teens

Restaurant Impossible. Iron Chef. Chopped. If your teen likes televised cooking competitions or real-life kitchen challenges, they will love Culinary Foundations, the advanced Compass cooking class for teens. Culinary Foundations is for future chefs who might be considering culinary school, a career in hospitality, or just elevating their own cooking adventures. Teens will get students excited about new foods, flavors, and techniques as they gain a working knowledge of food planning and preparation. Fourth quarter features fruits and vegetables with recipes such as:

  • Risotto Stuffed Bell Peppers
  • Onion Tarts
  • Zucchini Fritters and Zoodles
  • Stuffed Cucumber Cups
  • Cauliflower Roulade
  • Raspberry Fool
  • Baked Stone Fruit with Goat Cheese Filling
  • Ginger Peach Upside-Down Cake
  • Banana Foster Souffle
