LAST CHANCE: Holiday Pottery Painting Workshop this Friday
Create family keepsakes! Paint one-of-a-kind, personalized gifts and get a head start on the holidays!
Hand paint a plate for Grandma’s cookies, a mug for dad’s coffee, or a bowl for brother’s ice cream. Decorate cast clay Christmas ornaments.
Bring your children to a pottery paint workshop at Compass on Friday, November 9! Kids can paint plates, bowls, mugs, vases and/or a variety of shaped ornaments. Pottery instructor Andrew Cummins will lead the workshop, demonstrate painting techniques, and assist in painting names and dates. Register for a paint start time at 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, or 2:00 pm, but stay as long as you’d like (ending at 3:30 pm). Parents are welcome to register to paint their own projects or can remain to assist younger children.
The cost is $18.00 per person for 1 bowl, 1 plate, 1 mug, 1 vase, OR 3 ornaments. The cost per piece is lower than local pottery studios, and there is no separate studio fee. Painters can opt to paint additional pieces on the day of the workshop for $18.00/each. Painted pieces will be fired and glazed off-site with food-safe non-toxic materials. Completed pieces will be returned on Wednesday, November 14, in time for Thanksgiving. Reserve your paint time (and pre-pay for 1 bowl, 1 plate, 1 mug, 1 vase, OR 3 ornaments) by registering online.
