Featured Class: Programming Labs

Learn to code in one of Compass’s Programming Labs this spring!

Today’s kids need to be fluent in the language of computers to be successful! Programming Lab is a computer lab learning environment in which students work through skill-building activities and instructional modules at their own rate of learning under the guidance of a computer science coach. Students can begin at any time. Tweens and teens learn to code apps for their phones and tablets (Swift language, Web App Makers). Kids learn to program customized features and experiences in Minecraft (Python, Java), and little kids learn to code their very own game worlds and animate their own characters using block- or text-based programming languages (Scratch, Roblox, Lua). Programming Lab meets at 10am, 11am, and 12pm starting March 20 at Compass in Oakton. Register for Programming Labs or other spring classes online today.
