Compass Winter Class Schedule is Posted! Early Registration Opens Nov. 16
Great news! The Compass Schedule of Winter Classes has now been posted! Early Registration for begins next week on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:00 am. A 10% discount is offered through December 18. Winter classes include 3rd quarter classes which are 8 weeks and 2nd semester high school classes which are 16 weeks. Classes begin the week of January 10, 2022.

More than 150 classes are offered a-la-carte for homeschooled students in PreK – 12th grade, in math, science, engineering, technology, history, humanities, civics, writing, English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, ASL, art, music, drama, cooking, chess, fitness, fencing, and more! - Fall Baking Workshops: NEW 2- 3 hour, Saturday workshops: Chocolate Crafters- Tween, Chocolate Crafters- Teen, Deck-the-House Gingerbread- Kids, Deck-the-House Gingerbread- Little Kids, Cookie Academy- Tweens, Cookie Academy- Teens.
- American History Alive continues with weekly, costumed living history presenters from the Civil War era (ages 8+)
- Cyber Security: Ethical Hacking– NEW career exploration class for high school students.
- Clean Plate: Allergy Friendly Foods– NEW cooking class that omits top 8 allergic ingredients.
- Aviation Science: Advanced Aircraft (Drones, Gliders, Rotocraft & More)– NEW middle school science/tech class
- Breakfast Table: Sunrise Starts– Now 3 sections (Monday, Thursday, or Friday) for tweens and teens who have trouble getting breakfast and getting out the door. Make your breakfast and eat it to.
- Fencing for Young Beginners– NEW beginning fencing class for 3rd-5th grade (minimum age 8)
- Crafty Kids Club– Weekly after school crafting and social club for grades 2-5
- Skills for School: High School & Beyond Learn and practice key organizational and study skills to get ready for higher level classes
- Afterschool Classes: later start for: Dissection Lab & Comparative Anatomy (Mon), Robot Fab Lab: Battle Bots (Wed) Fundamentals of Engineering with LEGO (Thu), and Video Game Developer- 2D (Thu).
- Saturday Morning Cooking for Kids Class learn to cook the same great Winter Warm-Ups recipies
- Virtual Classes: 5 high school classes taught synchronously: PenPoint Creative Writing & Literary Magazine (Tue), Spy Games: The History of Espionage (Wed), Shakespeare’s Villains & Heroes (Wed), Psychology: Influential Case Studies in Social and Abnormal Psych (Thu), Geography Spotlight: Russia, The Black Sea, Central Asia & the Arctic (Thu). Also, upper elementary/middle school level CyberStage Acting (Fri).
