Andrew Cummins is a professional ceramicist, production potter, and instructor. He owns and operates Café Pottery in Old Town Manassas where he shares his love of ceramics by giving pottery wheel lessons, hand-building workshops, and hosting mobile pottery painting events. Andrew worked as the studio manager and ceramics instructor for a local pottery workshop where he developed lesson plans and sample projects for after school and in-school enrichment programs including formerly teaching at Compass in 2015. Andrew has been involved with a wide range of jobs in both the individual, artistic design and large-scale production ends of ceramic arts. He has cast and glazed ceramic bath accessories, managed the production of commercial ceramic tiles, and served as general manager of three Clay Café painting studios. Andrew earned a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art from the California State University Channel Islands.
